MTIC Group, Multinational Group which provides services as Notified body, Accredited Laboratory and Certification Body by its member companies, is growing steadily and successfully in all areas of testing, inspection, and certification.

Currently, we are looking for a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Department Manager for our office MTIC Intercert, in Rho, Italy.

Main responsibilities:

• Supervise under his own responsibility the correct performance of all the activities of the scheme, taking care of each phase, from the QMS documents to the applicable legislative and regulatory documentation, through planning, coordination, entrustment, supervision, review and the management of the same
• Ensure the correct execution of the process of selection, qualification, training, evaluation, and authorization of internal and external personnel of the relevant activity scheme, defining the minimum competence and educational requirements required for the individual roles, according to the requirements set out in the documentation applicable of the QMS and of external origin.
• Draw up the technical documentation of the QMS (eg operating procedures, instructions, check list for the evaluation of the technical file, check list and audit reports, etc.) ensuring compliance with the requirements of the applicable standards of the Union harmonization legislation and the applicable legislative documentation, the QMS, etc.
• Collaborate with the commercial secretariat for the purpose of correctly defining the offer and reviewing it.
• Supervise the programming and planning of the activities of the relevant scheme.
• Assign resources to evaluation / audit activities in compliance with the applicable authorization requirements and assign tasks and roles to the personnel of the scheme.
• Participate in the definition of the activities and objectives of the relevant scheme in collaboration with the department manager and senior management.
• Define the annual training and refresher plans for all the personnel of the relevant scheme, including the periodic monitoring plans in the field and the review of the practice documentation.
• Define the composition of the certification decision-making committee by summoning its members when deciding on certification.
• Review the documentation relating to each activity carried out by the Sector, with particular reference to the documentation presenting the results, signing it for approval where necessary.
• Manage the process of suspension, withdrawal, reduction of purpose, etc, of the certificates in compliance with the requirements set by the QMS.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma with technical address, or first or second level degree in technical or scientific disciplines. A university degree or a bachelor's degree is a plus.
• 4 years of general work experience of which at least 2 in the context of conformity assessment or design or manufacturing or conformity assessment or testing for PPE product (Especially Protective Equipment against drowning, Equipment providing respiratory system protection, Equipment providing head protection, Equipment providing hand and arm protection).
• Good knowledge of the accreditation standards applied by the Body (17000 series).
• Good knowledge of the European legislative documentation (Regulation 765/2008/EC, Decision 768/2008/EC, etc.).
• Good knowledge of IAF, ILAC, EA documents.
• Excellent knowledge of the practices defined by the system, product and inspection certification standards.
• Preferably 40 hours ISO 19011 course
• Knowledge of conformity assessment standards
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Office suite
